Pook's sleepers: 28 September to 4 October 2026

6 small new games players love that hardly anyone is playing yet: The Bell Echoes, Frutiger Home, Glider Sim Deluxe – Soaring Simulator and more.

  1. No. 1

    The Bell Echoes

    クリエイトゲーム · RPG, Strategy

94% of 302 reviews positive peak 204 playing out 27 Sept

A story-driven tactical roguelite where you take a cast of companions into the Corrupted Lands for Echoes and memory fragments. Out on 27 September, it has gathered all 302 of its reviews in one week at 94% positive, yet peaked at just 204 players.

  2. No. 2

    Frutiger Home

    frutigerdev · Simulation

97% of 200 reviews positive peak 262 playing out 28 Sept

Frutiger Home is co-op house decorating in full frutiger aero style: pick a layout, fill it with decor, invite friends round. 97% of its 200 reviews are positive since 28 September, with a peak of 262 players, so the housewarming is still fairly intimate.

  3. No. 3

Glider Sim Deluxe – Soaring Simulator

Joey Sipos · Action, Adventure, Simulation, Sports

92% of 195 reviews positive peak 14 playing out 28 Sept

Hang gliders, paramotors, speed wings and racing drones, flown over three custom maps or the whole globe via Google Earth. The oddity here: 195 reviews at 92% positive, but a peak of only 14 players aloft at once.

  4. No. 4

    HR: Human Remains

    dennisCorner · Action, Adventure

100% of 79 reviews positive peak 63 playing out 28 Sept

Office drudgery under a demonic regime, with tasks, puzzles and exploration from an ordinary clerk's desk. Every one of its 79 reviews since 28 September is positive, 100%, and the peak sits at 63 players.

  5. No. 5

    VESSELS: Noiret Mansion

    Rosenshine Games · Action, Adventure

96% of 70 reviews positive peak 31 playing out 30 Sept

For PSX horror devotees: a cursed estate, family secrets and puzzles in the Noiret Mansion. Released 30 September, it holds 96% positive across 70 reviews while peaking at 31 players, which is practically a private tour.

  6. No. 6

    Okko The Exiled

Frozen Flame Interactive · Action, Adventure

93% of 70 reviews positive peak 57 playing out 30 Sept

Stomping, launching and bashing through the demon land of Kutala towards Demon Lord Yalda, this action adventure arrived on 30 September. Its 70 reviews run 93% positive, though only 57 players have been in Kutala at once.

How they are picked: out in the 21 days to the end of the week, 25 to 600 Steam reviews with at least 90% positive, and never more than 300 people playing at once. Of those, the ones gaining reviews fastest that week. A game is picked once, ever. The notes are written by AI from each game's store description and these numbers; a note using anything else is thrown out.
