LIMP MODE

A driving survival game with real drift physics and deep tuning. Your car is your life: read fault codes with an OBD scanner, clear them to limp on, cut systems for power. Run the highway where the dead are just bad weather - or hit 20-player drift servers. Built by a real mechanic.

Your car is in LIMP MODE. So is the World.

LIMP MODE is a driving survival game about one thing: keeping a broken car alive. The handling leans simulation, the tuning goes deep, and the road does not care. Fuel is your run timer. Every stop for gas, parts or loot costs you something. And when the engine light comes on, you don't pray — you plug in a scanner.

8 Towns along the Highway

Out on the highway the dead are just the weather: strays around wrecks, shapes in the headlights. The towns are where you stop. Race the quarter mile and hit the dyno in NEW CREEPS, try your luck at roulette and slots in LOST WAGES, cross the neon scramble in TOKWO, buy your own house in TOWN OF TASTE. People walk the streets — mind your speed. Further up the road the dead creep back in, and CONSTANTIN NOPE belongs to them.

Your Mission

Your grandfather is stranded 1,000 kilometers away. He needs a new engine to drive back home. You are his only hope. Get yourself ready and find a V8 along the way!

Drift servers — 20 players, your cars, your tracks

A second multiplayer mode next to co-op. Open the server browser, join a public drift session or host your own — private if you want it.

• Up to 20 players on self-made drift maps, tandems included.

• Everyone gets their own pit box: lift, storage, and a box you can design yourself and show off.

• You drive YOUR cars — wreck one drifting, and it stays wrecked in story mode until you fix it.

• Build tracks in the track editor and host sessions on them. Share tracks and box designs with the community.

• Parts shop and a burger stand right at the pit lane — the meeting point between runs.

Driving that takes itself seriously

This is a driving game first. Slip-based tire physics, weight transfer, and drift behavior tuned by a real-life drifter and former tuning shop operator. If you can hold a slide in real life, you'll feel at home here.

The diagnostic scanner is the weapon

Designed by a working car diagnostics technician, the OBD tester is the heart of the game:

• Read fault codes — know exactly which part is failing instead of guessing.

• Clear faults — the limp mode gamble: the car runs again NOW, but the fault comes back, and the intervals get shorter every time.

• Disable systems — software tuning with a price. Kill the emergency modes that are activated because of faulty parts or overheating. Gives you more power, but at what cost?

• Stage 1, 2, 3, Pops'n'Bangs, Launch Control - you don't really need them. But for whatever reason, you will still use them to destroy your cars faster.

Every intervention is a decision with a cost. Never a no-brainer.

Tuning like in a real shop

Mechanical parts, software stages and body kit — lift kits, wheel and track-width setups, paint, tint, and pieces you'll be glad you bolted on when the horde closes in. The ECU tool adds launch control and pops & bangs: read the car, change the map, write it back.

Your cars are really yours

A personal garage that follows you across every mode: your own cars, each with its service book and odometer. Damage, tuning, mileage — it all travels with the car, no matter whose game you're in. Find a car in the world, register it, and it's yours for good.

A car that breaks like a real car

• Parts wear out, take damage, can be stripped from wrecks — used parts come with used condition.

• Hit a rock and crack your oil pan? It drips in real time, leaves a slick under the car, and the puddle on the road is slippery.

• No radiator? Fine — until the temperature gauge says otherwise.

• Weak battery, horde incoming, key turning slowly: that sound is the whole game in one moment.

One world — your wrecks wait for you

Death ends the run, not the world. You wake up at your last bed; the same highway is still out there, your stuff you carried, every stripped container and every car you abandoned. Walk back, drive back — or leave it behind.

Play the Story your way

• With zombies - if you love the action, more loot and money, that's the way to go

• Without zombies — just you and the road, no annoying undead

Sandbox mode

Sandbox — its own mode and save. Here you can build the craziest cars and test them on the Drag Strip or your own built track on the editor

Co-op for up to 4 players

Run the highway with friends: one drives, one rides shotgun with the scanner, or everyone drives their own car, you choose.
